Re: Well fellas she walked.

dammit, he was all set to buy the car. We went to pick it up and the fucker lied about the mileage. It had 40k not 20k like he advertised and even said on the phone. Obviously 40k on a toyota isn't bad, but if he lied about that he is probably lying about something else on the car. I'll keep looking.

Re: Well fellas she walked.

hey boys I've been gone for just a little while moving all my shit into my new house! We don't got the internet or cable yet (its getting installed next friday) so I won't be on too much in the next weeks. Just wanted to say its a damn shame another DSM bites the dust. My motor shit the bed at 177kilometers when you put that in miles thast 110 (pretty close to 104 I'd say)
but I rebuilt it and well my car has been running well ever since (all 7k km's). My housemate is looking into buying a car, and after riding in mine he wants a talon (it would be his first car too). I told him prolly not the best idea, I told him to buy a celica, but he still talks to me about my car looks at talons on autotrader and wants to go for rides. I knew hed be hooked lol. Damn why are our cars so fast and sexy? The way our cars are reminds me of this old girlfriend I used to have, She was so smoking hot (and knew it) but she was a total bitch ( i mean like pick me up from school, take me shopping shit like that. Oh and the best was on my birthday she made me HER favourite meal>? Eventually I just canned her ass, theres only so much one person can take be it with girls or cars.
Anyways my cars still running (I don't know if im considered a regular (yet!) It needs a new tierod but its not keeping it off the road.
But theres so many times I woulda been completely boned without my camry (winterbeater) to back me up and bail me out!
Good luck crunchy with whatever you get, and the most important thing is you got the attitude about it.

It think Travis and David are the only 2 that I can think of right now that actually have running cars.

EDIT: And Killer, his runs too! Can't forget about him.
I'm not a regular yet, but mine's running...
^maybe that's why it's running... I don't have the curse yet... lol

Sry to hear it man...I've dropped so much money into my DSM in just one week of owning it... I'd cry if mine broke... b/c I ended up selling my Daily to buy this one... but I think I'm gonna buy another daily...

Re: Well fellas she walked.

Sry to hear crunchy. Just got to this thread, been busy with college too. Good luck with selling your parts and buying a new car. Stick around to help make us all smarter. 1g awd drag car sounds like a sweet idea.

ps/I'm still running. KNOCK ON WOOD!
