Right - but those are the chassis numbers for those cars.
My point, which wasn't clearly stated I guess, was that there's no special letter or digit in the Vehicle Descriptor Section (postitions 4-9) of the VINs identfying them as LMs. They match the road cars exactly with the 'AB5AC'. I would think that they'd be different enough to warrant some kind of variance there. Your XLM theory is another good possibility. >8^) ER |

^^^^ Ok, that's more clear (pos. 4-9) and that's the same for all "short tail" road cars, seems that "long tail" GTs have it different at that.
