No offense, but with the fox Mustang's cutting 2.0s with street radials and stock suspension, they're not bad launching cars.

If you're having problems launching, you need more practice.

As for the 2001 Cobra, the IRS Cobra's aren't exactly known for launching, period.

Yep, a solid rear axle will cure that problem. Well, some other small stuff too

That same motor also found its way into the limited edition Cylone pickup and Typhoon Blazer.
The Turbo T/A's engine was almost the exact same as the GN, but it used heads from the FWD 3.8 cars to clear the shock towers. This, combined with a better exaust system and lighter weight, made the TTA a balls-out fast car! My brother bought one new and ran a 13.2 in showroom trim (no slicks, nothing!). These are the only real 3rd generation F-bodys that will stomp a 5.0 Mustang. A really low-option (light-weight) 89-92 Formula 350 will give it a close run, but the 5.0 should still take it.
BTW - The Cyclone and Typhoon actually used turbo'd 4.3 Chevy engines, not the 3.8 Buick...

It all depends on mods, but I think you are refering to stock form.

i don't know what you mean by over engineered? and its more confusing cause right before you said this you were talking about how you suffered from wheel hop and the such. I'm not trying to flame just confused.

Tombstone is a fairly new movie, like 90's anyway. Kurt Russel, Val kilmore. It's really good, I prefer it over the movie Wyatt Earp with Kevin Costner. Val Kilmore does a much better job as Doc Holiday.
