And I guess since my mods happened this year, I can post in here too, so:

Engine (shortblock)
-GM stock cast-iron 350 4-bolt main block, bored .030 in.
-Mahle Coated Forged Pistons, dome, 4.030 inch bore.
-Scat 4340 crank, 3.75 inch stroke
-Scat 4340 H-beam rods, 6 inches long.
-Melling oil pump
-Moroso 7-quart drag race oil pan
-Double Roller timing set.
-New rings
-New main, cam, and rod bearings
-Brass freezeout plugs.

Valvetrain
-Pro cast iron heads, 2.08/1.6 valves, ported, 64 cc chambers, flow over 300 cfms, K-motion roller valve springs (heads are not new, just the valve springs)
-Proform 1.6 ratior alluminum roller rockers
-Crane spring loaded roller lifters
-Crane .660/.660 inch lift roller cam

Misc.
-Proform electric water pump, 35 GPMs
-Autometer 0-100 psi Sport Comp. oil pressure guage
-Autometer 120-240-degree Sport Comp. water temp. guage
-new vinyl numbers (1972, 4 times)
-Aerospace Components pro 3 digit dial in boards (2).
-Cyber White halogen fog lights (return roads are dark, lol)

And all that made a 383 stroker, topped off with an Edelbrock Victor Jr. ported intake, 750 cfm Proform race carb., Mallory Unilite distributor, Accel 8.8 mm race wires, AC-Delco plugs, and Hooker Super Comp. headers.

All that ran a best of 6.6403 @ 102.68 mph with a 1.4180 60 ft (6 total passes thus far). May go racing tomorrow to my local track (the 330 ft. one for those that remember) weather permitting, but regardless of that, I'm going to Mt. Park Dragway (www.mpdragway.com) Sunday for the Spring Championship. Supposed to be 60 degrees and clear, so good conditions!

As for mods for the remainder of the year (got to catch my breath first, lol):

-Jegster High Torque mini starter
-Weld DragLite 90 Series wheels (front and rear)
-Good Year FrontRunner (drag front tires)
-new rear quarter panels, with rear extended wheel well openings (more of an offseason/winter project)

*MAYBE*
-new professional tube chassis OR 4-link rear frame section (to both lighten the car AND lower it a little).
-new paint
-24' enclosed trailer (not a maybe, but also not untill the 2007 season).

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

Only difference is that mine are dished. And I am still at 11:1.

I used that bore for the head gaskets.

I'd think that too, but he said the car he wants start with a D... Datsun is the car make... So I'm not sure that counts.

Car he wants... hmm starts with a D. DeLorean? Are we going to see some serious shit at 88mphs with some sorta Chevy small block drop in?

D... DeSoto? With a Chrysler small block?

I've got around 13.5:1 I reckon .

I'd say our engines are really close power wise. What are you figuring on making, about 550-600 hp?

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

Well, flywheel is what I meant.

That's good though, especially for an NA small block, lol. I'd say your car will be in the 11s pretty easy.

Cassie was the closest, even though I've always wanted to get a delorean and turbo it. I'm gonna' try and find a 2+2 280zx with t-tops and than swap in a cummins turbo diesel

wow... talk about ugly.

And... good luck trying to get that frame to hold the weight of the Cummins. That's a heavy bitch. Also, I doubt that little frame will hold up to the torque of the Cummins.

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

^^ I agree with Red, those are extremely heavey engines in a light car plus the torque would be twisting the frame if the weight wouldn't. And if it could hold it the cars nose would be dragging across the ground unless you had some hardcore suspension upgrade. lol

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

meh, I'm looking for one of the older turbo diesel's that possibly wiegh more like 700 pounds. If not, there's a nissan ld36??? or something like that, and that's a turbo diesel that I'm thinking about using. I was thinking that it may not be able to hold the 500 something lb/ft of torque without some other major upgrades. The reason I'm thinkin a 280 is becuase it's got t-tops and they came in a 2+2 version, and this will be a DD/cruiser that hopefully with a couple of adjustments I can get to run on biodiesel
