Re: B16A or B18C

yeah...ive been in the scene for the longest time.....and dude... trust me...i know enough....that question......ive done my research...dont worry about it.....this is just a thread......basically....a forum of opinions......right?????......i want to know what people would choose...

as for the street fighter...thats just as hard.....ryu is great because hes powerful...but on the other hand....ken is fast....really fast.....

thats just the reason why i opened this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my main goal for this car is....the power band.....how the power flows...nothing too crazy..........smooth power til redline.....

i already know what i want......i just want peoples end of this....Why would they choose a B16A over a B18C??? Ryu over Ken???? see what i mean....

and again, do your research.

Alright, cut the crap and cut it now. Everyone. No flaming, none. This thread is getting way out of line. Flaming is NOT tolerated, so drop it and cut the attitudes and crap. Now, jdm_spec, cut the crap. Cut the attitudes and cussing and insulting of other members. Almost everyone in this thread is guilty of flaming, but in the last few posts you took it overboard...flaming and personal attacks and insults ARE NOT TOLERATED...so drop it and DON'T push it.

Now, B16A or B18C1? 8 grand limit, screw stroking it...eats up too much $$. Now, between a B16a and B18C1...B18C1 has more displacement...and IMO the displacement is what I'd go for over the slightly better flowing B16A head (flows like around 7%). True, the Type-R parts don't all bolt on (intake mani, etc), but forgot that. If you want one, get a AEBS intake mani, it's based on a type-r one. Throw in some type-r cams...spend 1 grand on some stronger crower rods and arias pistons, and then $300 on some valves and retainers...say u send 2 grand...and 3 for the swap...the 5 Gs...Screw intake, header, etc, now put 3 grand towards a turbo kit...piece it toghter and run it with hondata w/ boost control. Boost it to 12, 15psi max...tuned right, that'll give you enough power and all. There's your 8 grand. save up $1500 more before doing this, buy some cheap rims/tires combo from wheelmax...$750 will get you something from them, and get some tein basics, $750 MSRP...there you go, almost everything you asked for.

My lsvtec is closing on her 1st birthday running like a champ. I dont own a shop or, work in the "import scene". I make alot more money doing what I do now then sending 17 year olds to die after welding on a APEXI n1 can to the 1989 honda civic daddy bought them *see you*

Face it your the one driving around in a crap stock car and I'm the one happy with his "time bomb". You've yet to even try to make up a good reason why lsvtec isn't a good idea. You just bash pointlessly because you have no good reasons, no facts, no proof.

Mine was built and tuned well thats the key when a knuckle dragging moron like your self JBwelds a XSI teg head to a b18b block and takes it to 9500RPM stock it'll blow. Is that why Mr. Pissy Pants JDM ness hates lsvtecs so much?

As I said before you know nothing and will keep being a slow stupid ricer.

edit: if you really had a REAL EG you'd already have a b16 GG fuckwit!
ah man...this guys funny......i bought that stock civic because ITS STOCK....damn how fucking stupid are u....im not going to buy some dudes eg witha B16 already...knowing that it already been beaten the fuck out already....with it being stock...i get to modify it myself...duh.....
and...hey fuck head.....ive tuned plenty of cars.....i still have a MK3...

man....did u even graduate yet????

how many fuckin times do i have to say this......

ls/vtec leaks.....they break down soo much faster......and to make it RUN fine....would cost more money than to just buy a B18C1 u dumbass.....face it.....i GUARANTEE u anything....that ls/vtec shit costed you more than just buying a B18C huh....the only reason why u still have it...is because you already invested soo much money into that u can afford to just throw it away....when you could have just got a B18C.......me the ricer....look at yourself...and then u tell me......i bet u....your shitless time bomb is running on donuts huh....trying to make it look JDM.....just because its black....

make yourself useful......go back and read ALL your 5 issues of mags again....and maybe...just maybe...u might learn something about it.....

jdm_spec, I warned you in the last post to drop the crap, that it won't be tolerateed and not to push it. That was the one warning...period. I then gave you the advice you were seeking and asking about in my last post also. You not only ignored it completly, but ignored it to contuine the crap, insults and flaming. You completly disregarded my warning and contuined the crap. I warned you NOT to push it, you pushed it.

This thread is locked....DO NOT make a new thread continuing this crap. DO NOT CONTUINE FLAMING AND INSULTING OTHER MEMBERS. It WILL NOT be tolerated. Consider this your last warning. Next time, you'll get a long vacation from AF.
