oh and im talkin bout the 2.2L ohv motor i havent even been in a cav wit the ecotec yet but i bet its sweet

Who are you calling a noob? 7000 RPM's on a 2.2 OHV with valve springs? Is that a joke? For one, ohv engines dont make power up there especially with no mods and revving that high is asking to break a pushrod. The ecotec does not have the same bolt pattern as the 2.2 OHV, they are flipped. The exhaust is on the firewall side on the ecotec and the exhaust is on the bumper side on the 2.2 ohv.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.
