It's time to update this thread a little.

Scratchbuilt fenders are now glued to the Marui body. After about seven putty-knife-file-sanding rounds they look like this:







Here is the whole thing with front end on place also, on next update it will be glued and puttied together with the rest of the body:

Maybe you should really cast it in resin when done. I for one would love to have a copy!

Short autumn/winter break on this one is over. The basic shape is almost ready, only top of front fenders to do. Next i will probably spray a first coat of primer to find all of the surface imperfections and to make it easier to check that the shape is OK.

Thanks for all of you who have helped me by sending reference pictures.
