Re: Hypsi87

Andy was a really phenomenal person. I spoke with him almost daily through the internet. I was supposed to meet him this summer, but I hadn't yet found the time.

RIP Andy... You are greatly missed, and I hope to see you on the other side.

Re: Hypsi87

Wow.... What a terrible thing to happen when someone is so young, I was going to visit him on my next trip to Caterpillar for training in Peoria.

Re: Hypsi87

It's unfortunate to see someone so young die. I work for a florist, and taking an order this afternoon, it was for a funeral for a 19 year old kid who had drowned a few days before. The woman who called sounded choked up, and she only worked with him. It was on my mind for the afternoon.

But let this be a lesson to all of you. You are not invincible. I used to drive well over a hundred in my caddy when I had her, then one day I was speeding on a back road, hit ice, and wrapped it around a telephone pole, nearly killing me and three friends.

Learn from your mistakes, and learn from Andy's death.

RIP andy.

Sarah~
Sorry about Andy Filson. I dated him back in '02 & '03. He was a nice guy. I am praying for his family and friends. He will be missed dearly. By the pics I have seen he did a lot to his car. And to his friends that remeber me-I am especially sorry about your loss. He is now in a better place.

Re: Hypsi87

Take it easy travis, the guy hasnt been around for a while and he just found out. I don't mind this thread being revived, Andy deserves a good thread about him.

and to bkvj, if the tire blew at 100, chances are it would have blown at 70 a while later anyway, which can still be fatal.
