And you called my stock seats ugly? Ew... GM could of done better with those...

I'm not so hot about the yellow, but it doesn't look to bad. Minus the 'ticket me yellow' color it's cool looking.

Is ticket me yellow supposed to sound so similar to tickle me Elmo....or is that just me?

Re: SS/SC (pics)

I hated that thing.. 'ha haa.. that tickles'...

Elmo was a sadistic bastard. Even if you punted the sonofabitch, he still giggled and said it tickled.

Creepy!

Re: SS/SC (pics)

The seats are just fine...it's the pattern in the center section that belongs to a couch from the 80's that I didnt like

Yellow is a personal preferance of mine. I bought this one to match the 71 which will be millenium yellow w/ black Z28 stripes.

HAHAHAHA....that's awesome. GM needs to rename it that.

And thanks Civ, I appreciate it.

As for going 120...there are various open spots on the highway that just scream top speed run. Although I havent worked up the guts to take it passed 125 yet. Every time I come up on a set of tail lights I slow down. Last thing I wanna do is blow by a cop doing mach 5.

I know what you mean...everytime I'm booking it and I see triangular tail lights up ahead of me, I piss my pants a little bit.

It's ok... as I've come to realise. People seem to confuse my car for a CHP Camaro.

So, nobody seems to want to play. Which is fine, I actually enjoy just cruising listening to some tunes with that soft barratone exhaust note pulsing away at 1700rpm.

I have yet to break 100mph in the car, fastest I've been is 85mph... on a city street on the test drive... with my mom riding passenger. All I needed for me to ask the manager "how much was it again?"

Re: SS/SC (pics)

Come to think of it...what was the cost of your new Z overall. If you don't mind my asking.

Also, if you ever wanna change that whole lack of attention vibe your car gives off...just toss a nice wing on there. That should do the trick
You can't mess around tho, the suckers gotta be at least a foot tall and easily visable from a mile away.

Re: SS/SC (pics)

With tax, title, registration and any other little bullshit DMV fee's it was a touch over $17,000.

Not bad for a car that'll do 13 second passes all day with nothing done to it. Gets decent gas milege too, so far it looks like I've been averaging 19-20mpg. Not too shabby for a V8, just gotta keep the RPMs below 2000rpm to get the good milege haha.

Damn v8's and their crazy torque...my car barely moves under 2000...under 1500 and it's about to stall.
