It's actually not as controlled as they lead you to beleive, remember the one that de-railed not so long ago?

Ride the kiddie rollercoaster first, and then go from there.

This is the most bizarre thread ever. I agree with Josh, quit being a pussy and just get on the damn thing.

If you notice the amount of times it runs daily to the amount of times it derails, it is actually pretty damn controlled.

Re: Fears??

both of this kid's threads are hilarious lol....

I was afraid of roller coasters not until last year. I just went on Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure, and I loved it. Yes, they are safe, youre not going to die if you buckle yourself in. A good percentage of these rollercoasters' budget goes into saftey...the'yre as safe as anything...

Just stand up, stop being a pussy and ride one. I just happen to ride one of the largest on the east coast US but I still Loved it. I was afraid of that "lifting stomach feeling" but you won't feel it if you go in the front. If you go in teh back, that's when you'll be in hell. Just go on one.

Re: Fears??

What the fuck is wrong with you child? Are you afraid of the ride breaking down or puking because you can't handle it? Let me tell you this, there is a reason the engineers of rollercoasters are paid the big bucks, there is a tremendous amount of precautions taken when designing and building these things....the chances of it breaking down will come due to poor maintenance and not from faulty design. So my suggestion is hit the newest ride first, and then once you can "take" it hit the older ones with the looses screws and really test your sanity.
If you're afraid of the puking, then I suggest you steer clear of any alcoholic drinks for the rest of yuor life....woman.

Re: Fears??

Speaking of roller coaster engineers getting paid big bucks... you want a real thrill, ride the county fair rides that are set up by carnies who smell like cabbage and get paid $15 a week. Now thats a rush!

I bet if he had to sit next to a Playmate on the World's scariest, fastest, and wildest coaster he'd forget his fear real quick.

If he wouldn't...

Actually they usually either smell like Wild Turkey or Cogniac. Now THOSE are the SHIT! I really wish they'd set up bigger rides cuz I love the knowledge that my life is suspended in the hands of a circus worker that "knows" how to put a nut into bolt to set it up while slightly tipsy and hitting on the rubber-skinned 3 arm girl in the side show over there.
