Which Datsun Z do you like the best?

yall need to learn about sr20det swaps into datsun zs
the engine sits fully behind the front axles so handles like an MR car. and it cuts the weight to under 2000 lbs. and you can get 300 hp/300lbft torque without too much of a problem. im sorry but in my opinion to have a bigass heavy as hell v8 in the front of the car isnt ideal. i like to do other things besides go straight though.

on the push rod note who says it cant be a stock v-8 puttin down 390 hp and 408 lbs ? lol 427 lol but on the small block note you take a 350(thats right the legendary sbc) and put a narly cam to it ,nice dual plane high rise, a descent holley 750 double pumper, some pretty forged pistons, with some bad ass connecting rods and roller rocker lifter and all the other goodies for about 3000$ you got yourself a solid 400hp daily driveability with out a charger lol now drop that bad boy into a light car and hold on

as for built to the hilt not a daily driver add a 600 hp shot of nos to it lol and thats only like 1100$

i like the 280zx because when i was like 10 or so my dad had one in good condition..i liked it back then bcuz when u opened the door the voice would tell you your door was open, same with gas door and man when your 10 nothing else matters lol but yeah it had like 210,000 miles and then we sold it for like $3,100

Alright...as for the VG30DET issue: Yes, there was a DOHC VG30 made with a single turbo. It just wasn't sold in the US. You can swap these heads onto US VGs if you want, but I don't know why you'd want to. I don't think it's easy to find these heads, I don't think they're cheap and I don't know if there's much improvement (if any) to be had over building some proper US heads.

As for the V8 issue: Saying "V8s should be fast" is retarted. That's like getting into a built Civic and saying "I thought 4 cylinders were slow". What would that make 6 cylinders? "I thought 6 cylinders were in the middle"? What about 10+ cylinders?

Just because an engine is bigger than _______*insert your engine of choice here* doesn't mean a damn thing.

Do I think Chevy engines belong in Z cars? No. They're great engines. Don't get me wrong. But so are the engines that were already IN the cars. Keep Nissan engines in Nissan cars. Just my

I had a SR20DET in my 240z. No It does not bring the weight under 2000lbs.

And no, it does not make it handle like a MR.

Infact, it likes to understeer due to a lack of weight on the front axles.

Shaddup already. Don't go spitting out info, unless you have facts.
