Did you guys notice the paint job on that R32? Its a Mustang color, Mystic Cobra, BASF color. If its not, its really close.

nope - it's a custome flipping paint, with a fancy flake-thingy going on as well. It hasn't come out well in the magazine pictures, but if you see video footage of it in the sun.........

The magazine pictures show it ok, but it seems to get lost in the translation from hardcopy to softcopy....
The paint is PPG green to violet colour-flip with metallic flakes of red, blue and yellow to give a rainbow effect. (That's what it says on page 3 of the article...)

That Mystic effect is what we seem to be calling colour-flip. One of my mates raced a V8 Commodore with this paint. Talk about expensive to reapir when your in a crash

Like I said it is very close. The Mystic is a BASF made in the mid 90's, PPG basicaly copied it. I spray PPG, and plan on using their coy on my wife's Jag.

If a Mystic would get into an accident, they would fly over the paint from Europe with one of their body men to fix the cars. Every drop would be accountable for. Looks like PPG made a very good copy.
