Alright SR20, which RE sub would u recommend for the best Low End. I mean really low, i want a tuned box at around 25-27hz

Anyway, any of them should go retarded low. The XXX is very similar to the Brahma, and sealed my Brahma goes down to the teens without losing any output. Just get the biggest one you can fit, in the highest model that you can afford (afford to power properly too)

If you want it even, with the ability to go lowlow get the xxx or wait to get the new 48mm beast. If you want bottom heavy go w/ se's, sexxxs(used), or sx's in a 28 hz box w/ mucho port area.

Isnt mounting an amp upside down bad for the amp because the heat travels the opposite way that it should to cool the amp?

No mounting an amp upside down isnt going to hurt anything. It had adiquite flow. its just kind of stupid the way he did it.
However. Mad mike never does use a ported enclosure. i think they used 4th order bandpass one time. Mad Mike goes along with the common car audio misconseption that small and sealed will hit harder because you can put more power to it.
Now, SR20 you need to go back through the SI forums and find us toes pics. that chick was hot. the Chick with the mustang was kinda cute also, and she surfs so that makes her hot as well. plus she does drive a mustang, lol.
but about hte mustang, they made it out like no rims where ever made to fit old mustangs. just because their bought brown nosed company doesnt make rims for a mustang doesnt mean they can act like none where ever made. but i geuss if yo ucan call T1's the best subs around then you can say anything on TV.

How much difference can have say 2 or 3 15's (say some SE's) make than just 1. To the ears?

you double surface area you double displacement and you get twice the sound energy.
ie
1 15 w/ 1000w plays say 133dB.
2 15's w/ 1000w will play 136 (all other things being equal with out cabin gain)
3 15's w/ 1000w will play 137.5dB

that being stated
2 15's w/ 2000w will play 139dB
3 15's w/ 3000w will play 142dB

because double power will also double sound energy. ~10dB is twice as loud to the human ear. so 3 15's with the same watage as 1 15 will show a 4.5dB gain or about 1/2 louder and 3 15's w/ 3 times the wattage as 1 15 will show a 9dB gain. or nearly twice as loud.

Say u got a SE 15 in 4 cubes tuned to 30 w/ 40 sqin of port area playin with 750watts. Put 2 se 15's in 8 cubes tuned to 30 w/ 80 sqin of port area and 1500 watts it will be approximately twice as loud to ur ears. 3 in 12 cubes tuned to 30 w/ 120 sqin port area w/ 2250 watts it wil be around 3 times as loud to ur ears.
