All I was suggesting was that it seemed a somewhat ambiguous statement/point of view without a specific incident or person or church or theology in mind. So all I was saying was that I hadn't encountered that particular way of thinking before and I've been involved with 15+ denominations and a range of different theologies.

I ticked the box and believe in it. If I'm dead then I don't give a shit about what happens to the carcass. Cremate what's left. By the same token, I carry a legal document stating that body parts are to be used for another person - not for medical research or for med students to work on.
As I recollect you can be an organ doner but it still requires family consent (here at least). My family know my wishes. I guess it's a case of a final gesture. Of course, I plan on living forever or die trying
