I think a ref to www.fordracingparts.com is both a useful and positive thing to post..
 The wings west and APC part of the fast focus catalog have some great ref pics for anyone thinking about starting a custom mod. Plus there's more pictures of Ford engines on http://www.fordracingparts.com/crateengine/main.asp to keep more detail conscious modeler happy.
