Very nice - indeed inspiring - work, you are setting the standards for future M1īs. One question. I can see pictures underneath the model of the actual car. Where did you get those from? Are they available on the net?

Well, I don't think I am setting the standards with this build. THere's much room for improvements:
The wheels were airbrushed painted with Tamiya acrylic gold (from a bottle) which came not so good as I wanted. Also the aluminium rim was painted with Testors metalizers. Next time I'd try Alclad II... I usually use Tamiya's acrylic bottles and always have drying problems... So you have to be very careful with the handling of the model, otherwise you'll leave fingerprints on the surface... Actually I had big paint problems after removing the masking tape, but luckily I managed to solve it. No, I did not found pictures of this specific paint scheme on the net. Some fellow modeler sent me some pics taken at the Norisring in 1980. Actually, I only have these 2 and the one on my homepage. Give me a PM if you want the pics...
