Heres a few of the decals i've got on in the last few days. Just got one more side to go. The black arrows are the worse to get on so far. Take a bit of getting right.
They were coated in Micro Set then brushed down as best as possible. Then i had to use a hair dryer to warm the decal to get them to sit down correctly over the rear wheel arch.
Other's are pretty much straight forward.

I am moving straight onto this kit now guys as my cousin bought me it and I would like to finish one of her kits while I am here!

Warren, did you use Tamiya surface primer, the pale grey one? It looks pale enough for white to go over the top!

NO, dont! Use the white primer! I've the grey primer and white paint, the white just never covers the grey fully.

I've sorted it! I'll give it a light coat of white automotive primer!

Priming

Ok, I just bought this model and well I want it to look like everyone elses (im not a newbie but pretty damm close) Only part im a little gray on is the priming, could the person that did this model or anyone else for that matter explain how you do the priming on model cars, or point me to a webpage dedicated to model cars with some tips/tricks. Also what method/products do you use to obtain your polish? if you dont mind kind of a mini diary of how you painted the body would be helpfull. Seems like alot to ask, but if you have the time all help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AF!

Read this:
Painting model car bodies! Full instructions! (Yes, you have to use primer!)
It'll take you step-by-step, pretty much.

...And then look thru the FAQ. There's a ton of info in there.

Then, ask any other questions you may have.
