Great engine, looks cool. Did you drybrush the Porsche letters?

Looking good so far!
Did you have to clean up lots of mold lines on the body like I did? I thought it was a bit disappointing from Tamiya.

Thanks guys.

To answer some questions:
Between the first and second coat of primer I sprayed Gloss white to help cover up the silver body. It made the 2nd coat of primer pretty smooth.

The red letters on the top of the intake were carefully drybrushed. They will be a little visible through the engine hatch, so I'm glad I painted them.

The mold lines on this kit were a little bit heavy for a Tamiya kit. But since there are virtually no sharp lines on this car anywhere, there's no place to conceal them like Tamiya usually does.

It is looking freaken awsome. I am so intriqued by this kit for whatever reason I don't know. It's getting the same excitement the enzo got. I am hesitant to start mine, but I often stare at the box.

The chassis and interior are now completed, and all the other sub-assemblys that will attach to the body are done. I just have to wait now for the body to dry to be polished.

I sprayed the body this morning, and WOW is it bright.

Sweet job! Keep it up. Now that I look at it, the car reminds me of the Veilside Fortune 01 MR-S, or the other way around.

Enjoyed your progress like enjoying Kunta's!

May I learn what color you used for the interior? From the instruction, it seems a difficult mix to me? Pls advise !!

Tks!!

Thanks all!

I did not paint this car as per the instructions.
The interior clors used were:

Tamiya flat red (seats and dash)
Tamiya titanium gold (all metallic trim)
Tamiya flat black (floor mats)
Model Masters semi gloss black acryl. (vents in dash, steering wheel)
