Masking looks fine. Good luck on the spraying.

not sure if the paint will look good. this kind of paint is very tick and eat the plastic easily. Never used Plastikote, but the Duplicolor "engine" paint is terrible for plastic

Re: The Fast and the Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse... no pics

dang... i couldnt find any orange or green besides the engine paint. cuz if this paint wont work its going back. my guess is this paint wont work either because the cans look nearly identical. i'd rather not take my chances. so any suggestions on what paint i should get for my orange and green?

Tamiya, model master, duplicolor, plastikote. orange and green aren't the hardest color to find.

also, the primer is a bit too dark for orange paint. You will need to put few white coat of paint before if you want a nice color

im using plastikote paint for SUVs, and Trucks, on some models right now, it works very well, but you MUST have the clear coat or it looks like shit.

Re: The Fast and the Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse... no pics

im going to use the plasti-kote silver for my CLK DTM. either im pressing the button too hard or im too close cuz i sprayed the rims and there was paint everywhere. i painted in a cardboard box and it was like a puddle.

anyways... i couldnt find any orange or green except for engine enamel. i checked at Wal-mart and Pepboys and they didnt have the lacquer so i just got some engine enamel. i hope Pepboys will let me return it.

Re: The Fast and the Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse... no pics

I use Plasti-Kote paints regularly and they work fine if you remember that they come out with a lot more pressure than regular hobby paints. I'm no pro . Thanks though
