Re: Datsun 240 Z TwinTurbo

Excellent body styling, awesome interior, detailed motor....what more can you ask for? oh yeah...the hood, doors, and trunk open. Sweet build so far.

I haven't still decided what colour to use. I used that green colour to hiace kit. But i promise to look that colour in monday. Some deep colour maybe.

I started too many projects, but finished any. Focus, focus.

Update

Some update. Like I promised, paint!

I think that it suits very well. That color has some little metal flake in it. Got to take some outdoor photos.

Tell me your opinion please.

Had to take some better pictures. Made my own photo studio.
I think these photos make justice for the color. And i haven't put clear coat yet. Enjoy!

And please tell what do you think.

Re: Datsun 240 Z TwinTurbo

Shoot some clear on that thing and polish it up, it'd look pretty sweet.

Had some progess today.

Had to make front suspension from scratch, cause I lost the original part. But this way was easier though. What do you think about the stance?

Engine got its wires. Brake reservoir from Viper kit, and added brake lines. Battery from parts bin. Got wires too. It's going to be tight here when building all that turbo plumming. Intake pipes have to cross each other, and take air from those horizontal holes at the front of the car

Started designing the hood. Maybe cowl hood or something like that.

Paint needs some clear on it. That's why its looks like shit.
Tell me what do you think. Please.

I love Zs
So am I looking at a intercooler, then radiator, and finally an oil cooler from front to back?
Can't wait to see the IC/intake plumbing! The IC has just 2 openings on the top? I'm confused how it's all going to work.

It looks like the hood would fit without a major cowl hood, keep it low!

Here is a picture of the pipes. Turbos hook up to the IC from downside.
Also got air filters and waterhose.

Hood wont close if not cutted. Maybe that was too high. I'll lower it.

Got seat belts done. I have to make something to fill those holes around door.

Exhaust done also. It will be little closer to the body.

Engine got little detailing. I think it is ready. What do you think?

But that hood keeps bugging me. I cant make it sit. Somethink under it keeps it way too high. Maybe I have to raise that center part. And those tiny holes are dremeling marks from underside.

As you can see body overall is done. Still to do, is hinge for the hatch. Any ideas?
Then I could try my first polishing.
