Sorry Man, I love this car, ive wanted a civic hatch for as long as I can remember, and now i have one

I got it with lots of goodies for 1500, and you couldnt pay me 2 get rid of it!!
Ill have this car even after my kids graduate school,

YOU CAN KEEP YOUR DUMB ASS V-8, ALL YOUR DOIN IS GIVIN YOUR GAS MONEY 2 TERRORIST COUNTRIES,

Ill keep my little v-4

Now if I could just get rid of this 92 accord for 150 bucks
wonder if i can put the accord engine in the civic,

For the price of a 300zx twin turbo or even a skyline, you could have a crazy fast honda.

Im located in Groton, Ct. On the border of RI.

And, like I said...no hard feelings...you seem pretty knowledgeable about b16s and I respect that.

Just to clarify...I didn't call it a torqueless wonder...I was just stating what other people say. I've riden in both crxs...a b20 and b16 powered. Let me tell you...they are the EXACT opposite. The B20 has so much power down low...like incredible and then just loses it past 5500k But the b16 doesn't feel any different than a D16 until it hits it's vtec point then...all i gotta say is wow...feels nice. I don't have problems taking off on b16 rexes thru 3rd gear but once a b16 rex hits the end of 3rd gear...they're pullin' on me...it's ok tho cuz I know it wouldn't take much more to stay ahead of them.

And like SiZ says, those b16's must of looked over and saw some riced out 240 reving at them and didn't even bother racing you. Typical ricer. Get some more hands on knowledge and then come back and then maybe you won't get ragged on.

first off, my 240 was not a riced out heap...it was gunmetal grey lowered on gunmetal 16" advans, tinted windows and a low but QUIET exhaust
no spoiler,no bodykit, no redulious graphics, HUGE wheels, no "sleepy eyed" shit

second....i have no proof i have beaten b16's, so im not going to claim that i do, all i had was a punched cat, header, catback, ported head, and intake when i beat the first one, with the second one i smashed him 2 car lengths on 7lbs boost

as far as i know the fist guy was a shitty driver?

all i know is that for the price paid for the complete swap, i was dissapointed, i would have much rather turboed my a6 for less and whooped up on all the b-series engines exept maybe the b18c5

as soon as i posted that i was like "oh shit im gonna start a war without meaning to"...i know there are MANY people that stand by the b series engines. and i apologise to you guys.

all i can say is i am a firm believer of the d series, can be much faster for the same amount of/or slightly more money.

but once again, i am just stating my opinion.....

oh, and im not a newb to the 4th gen or honda in general...
i have tuned hondas way before the "fast and the furious crowd"
if it want for the fast and the furious we wouldnt have 75% of the ricers we have in this world

anyway, back to what i was saying....i have been tuning hondas for the better part of 13 years, and im not the most knowlagable person in the world, but i do know a thing or 2 about honda and how to make an engine scream

to finish i would say....if you want to go all motor i say hell yes...go for b-series. if you want a quick car on a budget go for d series (imho)

Yea I dont really care about money, im just worried how long this is gonna take to do this swap, Cause my accord wont start anymore, so the civic is my daily driver...

Im guessin after all this its lookin like a b18, with an added turbo later...

And I know its a 4-cly.

How about swapping in a Mazda 13B "Wankel" rotary, cut and modify yourself a driveshaft tunnel and rwd parts... btw I don't actually have a civic with a wankel but I'm playing around with a 13b for a project car and dreaming of what it would be like to put one in my tiny 91 hatch
