But it certainly doesn't apply to me. Call me weird, but I am one of the few girls that despises malls. When I need something I go straight to the store, pick out what I want and get out within 10 minutes.

One year I went to the mall to get a small fiber-optic Christmas tree. I had to go thru Dillards to get to the store it was at. On my way to that store I saw a rack of women's sweaters 30% off so I snagged 6 of them and paid for them in the course of 2 minutes. I think the lady at the register was a little frightened. Then I went to the Christmas store and got my tree. Within 10 minutes I was on my way back to the car. As I was passing thru Dillards there was a couple standing by a rack of clothes. The guy was stuck holding his g/f's purse, bags, and clothes to try on. He had seen me get my sweaters and now saw me coming thru again with my bag and my tree. He said to her, "Honey, she knew what she wanted, why can't you shop like that??" She said, 'why don't you just shut up and hold this??" and threw a sweater onto the pile he was already bogged down with

Sounds like she was cracking the whip on him.

I have to agree with KatWoman, I'm the type of woman who knows what she wants, so when shopping, I go find what I'm looking for, spend a few minutes thinking it over, pay for it, and walk out. No sidetrips while I'm in there. Yes, shopping can be fun, with the appropriate amount of monetary resources, time, patience, and luck, but I don't particularly care for the malls, and my patience in a department store is limited if I just go to look around. Of course, there are a few times when I've gone shopping with friends, where we tend to wander for a bit, but we rarely spend much. We're all such frugal college students that we have to convince ourselves and each other that's it's okay to open up the wallet once or twice and have a little fun.

Here's a question though, who makes more informed decisions while shopping? IMHO, I think women do.

Thats a good question, Dantes.

I would have to say that it would depend on the product. For me, if I was shopping for electronics or car stuff I would be well informed and be a fairly smart shopper. But when it comes to say....grocery shopping,or clothes, I would say that women are more informed.

What info do you need? If the pants are a 31-32, they fit. That's all I need to know.

Never go shopping with a Gay Guy.
Iv been shopping with enough GirlFriends to know slow and indesive females can be, but gay guys are ten time worse. Even my female friends complain about it.

As a contrast have you ever gone car shopping with other girls and guys.
The Girls will see a car they like, go ohhh its pretty, take it for a drive round the block and go ohh its pretty, then buy it. The same way a guy will go into a cloths store and buy a pair of pants.
Guys car shopping will look at several differnt models, and drive from end of the city to the other looking at differnt cars in differnt yards, and comparing all the prices and trying to work out how much they can haggel on price.
They will test drive as many differnt cars as they can, and look over each car with a fine tooth cam looking for an flaws etc.

Guys only buy clothes because we have to, and so we spend as little time as possible doing it. A lot of females enjoy it, so they spend more time at it.
Same with buying cars, or anything else for that matter.
