Re: Integra GSR vs. Prelude VTEC

I doubt he's beaten Type R's. Maybe if their drivers didn't have legs. But name calling is unnecessary, because a Type S prelude is more or less the equal of the ITR.

Re: Integra GSR vs. Prelude VTEC

ive raced may gsrs in my 5th gen lud beaten most but never beat an ITR...they would alwyas pull in top of secon and end up one car ahead to 95mph
i give props to the GSRs and mad respect to the ITR but IMO the lude looks much better 97-01

Re: Integra GSR vs. Prelude VTEC

I agree, well I haven't race with any ludes, but on tegs, my 96 kicked 95 gsr 5 times in a row like 5 sec behind, 95 has aftermarket AI, other than that both r stocks. So if you want to buy GSR go with 96-up. spec is the same but 96+ faster than 94-95, that's a fact.

that is not a fact. 94-95 is obd1 and 96 and up are obd2 and obd2 have to many restition

What ever happened to the good old days.Ya know, when it was Chevy vs, Ford, Or Mopar vs. both. They are both Hondas anyway you look at it and should get respect from either side. Even when it comes down to Integra models people get into arguements on which is better. And once again, neither one is better. All that matters is how $ ya got.
As which car to buy? Do yourself a favor, test drive before you buy. That is the only way you will know for sure which one to buy.Either way, it will be the right decision.

Re: Integra GSR vs. Prelude VTEC

What the hell is there to compare on which one is faster from a Lude and Teg....stats...speak in big words and the teg isn't that much lighter then a Prelude I hate when people bring that stupid stat up "weight" fuck that i'll take off my stupid wing in the back (yeah right don't need the help) and where almost the same....stupid teg....(sure they look alright but nothing like a Prelude) and Prelude stock for stock with a teg GSR or Type R is still better nuff said.....

4th Gen Lude VTEC: 190----158
3rd Gen Teg GSR: 170----128

O.K. there both Honda's there' both front wheel drive everything there the same 1.8 against a 2.2 which only weight's a lil more then the GSR and the Prelude is shorter do weider then a GSR

O.K. u say TYPE R I say
2 much MONEY FOR 25 HP and like 2 Torque more with the same engine!!! 1.8 stupid people....
Type R 195----130

I say 5th Gen Type SH faster and ATTS
Type SH: 200---156 ha stupid teg fans r so stupid to think they can beat a prelude and bring up the weight thing when it's not even that much of a difference while we have much better stats then a GSR even a TYPE R (atleast engine/torque wise)

the only reason people think a GSR or a TYPE R can beat a PRELUDE VTEC OR SH is cause there's a lot more people with Teg's then Prelude's....NUFF SAID!!!

One more thing "Ace's" u must have the slowest Prelude in the world cause ur always putting R BELOVED LUDE DOWN...will u buy ur self a REAL PRELUDE VTEC MODEL!!! god.....maybe u swapped it WRONG....HA!!!

Re: Integra GSR vs. Prelude VTEC

Advantage of Integra=aftermarket. As far as I've heard, Type R is supposedly king of Honda engines. Everybody wants one in their CRX, Civic hatch, whatever. Very few people want the H22. Even though the H22 is better out the gate, I think this reasoning is because there is so much more they know they can do with the B18C's. Only one or two kids I know went w/ H22 in their civics, and now one thinks he can smoke me, but that is another story.

This whole post reeks of your ignorance Here are some stats for you http://car-stats.com/stats/showstats/showstatsgivenid.aspx for the SH and http://car-stats.com/stats/showstats/showstatsgivenid.aspx and for the ITR. So how is it that the prelude is faster than the ITR? Also the weight difference is not that much and you can take your spoiler off and that will even you up? Well if your spoiler weighs 400+lbs then yea you can even up the weight difference. The tranny alone weighs 100lbs more than the B series tranny. I think an apology is needed for your ignorant reply.*note* this is not that I am taking sides between the Prelude vs Integra debate, I am just correcting the wrong information that you are trying to bash the integra with. I personally like both cars, the Integra just happened to be the car I ended up with.

Re: Integra GSR vs. Prelude VTEC

no integra Gsr,TypeR going to kill prelude 92-01 h22a 200 HP not mention Type S
i see everywhere in U.S Atlanta who driving type S
I Feel embrass for those integra fan people

let do algebra math here.
f(g(x) f = Engine Liter x= HP g=Torque
1.8L VS. 2.2L ,
1.8(130(197) = 46098 integra + 5000
2.2(158(200) = 69520 prelude
let give integra 5000 more because he have light weight
Integra fans i can't tell which number is greater than the other... can you guys help me out..

and those who said Integra have more aftermarket support
than prelude... did you ever know a website called Ebay ?
