2004 Meet-up for belgian and dutch modelers !!!

So, after the show, here are the results of this Meetup:

BIG ZERO

The only Afers I saw sunday were Gianni, Punch_DVC, Towelboy80 and Bigfrit.
The 3 first are good friends so I knew they would be there. Gianni, Punch_DVC and I, are in the same club. And Bigfrit; with who I had several contacts by phone came late but CAME.

I bought the bottles for nothing, I bought the chips and Springles for nothing. I printed the Meetup page for nothing and was hoping for nothing.

I thought I would meet some other guys but no PM, No email, No message by phone, nothing . Exception for:
- Snooker: only there on saturday
- 2CV: who sent me a PM telling that he could not be there.
All the others; no news ????

So, I won't organize a Meetup again and spent my money and time for nothing.

The show was terrific, so incredible quality. You don't know what you missed.

I'll try to post some pics asap of the Afers I met and some teaser pics before the gallery is done on our website. More than 500 pics to upload.

I was there on saturday afternoon (as I said to you I was not free on Sunday).
I had not seen your PM before going there so hadn't your mobile phone number. Anyway I knew you weren't there on saturday...
I looked for the card with the logo but didn't find it on any stand.

I really appreciated the show, there were very nice models there. I was especially amazed by the painting and "finish" quality some modelers can attain. I'm a bit jealous, I never can go near that GLOSS and perfection !

I was glad to be there but as it was Saturday I expected that I could not meet you. Sorry for you that the others who should come on Sunday, didn't.

See you maybe next time or at another expo in Belgium.

No prob Fredo, you had already said in this thread that you would not come on sunday so I didn't wait you on sunday.

I'll go to an expo in Cuesmes in august, so I will probably meet you there.

I'm sorry to hear you put so much effort into that. I said I was "most likely" gonna come, but since the wheather was good during the weekend and I have a large garden, I needed to compromise and decided not to go to the show. If I'd knew you were going to buy so much stuff I would not have mentioned anything. Offering 'an aperitive' and 'meeting over a beer' does not sound to me like "come on guys, I'll be buying stuff and share it with you'.
