i just want to make erase any doubts about i-VTEC, and answer all questions..............

i-VTEC or inteligent-VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control)
changes all the time, the ECU is constantly monitoring oil pressure, manifold pressure, and other sensors/points and changing the valve lift all the time....
unlike VTEC where there was a RPM where it was either ON or OFF, so if you install a VTEC light you could see when VTEC was engaged........

in the RSX case in the "base" engine the intake camshaft was the only 1 changing producing 160hp but the Type S engine both the intake and exaust camshaft are constantly changing producing 200hp out of the 2.0L engine............

i hope this helped some of you............
if not just write me another Q i'll try to answer it
