Re: Favorite gen Maxima

1st and 2nd and 4th are kinda ugly IMHO. i like the 3rd gen, with some TLC you can make it look like a e36 beemer.

5th and 6th look awesome, but by far my fav is the 5th.

Had two 4th gens, now I own a 2002 6spd. Both 4th gens were 5spd's.

I definitely like the handling of the 4th gen more felt more sporty and connected to the road. For the city though which is where I am usually the 5th gen is more stylish and packs punch with the VQ35. In Atlanta sure there are a lot of 5th gens, but there are so many 4th gens around i got sick of seeing them, i swear like 20% of Atlanta owns one lol. 5th gen grew on me.. took a while to like the rear lights, now I love em

Re: Favorite gen Maxima

You just cant beat the 4th gen! It has great lines and smooth curves that just makes it stick out. The only color it didn't look good in was brown! Other then that it is an amazing car. The interior cant be beat, personally I think they've really messed up the interior starting in the 5th gen up.

Re: Favorite gen Maxima

I really like my 5th gen. Except for the taillights, I don't know what it is, just don't care for them. Also wish I had the 6speed 3.5 instead of the 5speed 3.0. Still love the car though.
