Re: Any photos of the new Fujimi Porsche 911 GT3R Miku Hatsune x GSR Porsche?

Here is a comparison between Scaleauto, Fujimi and Speedy diecast.

Right off the bat, you'll notice that Scaleauto's body around the door area is wider, probably because it has to accommodate the mounting posts to the chassis.

Other than that, the basic body dimensions, like the size of roof and hood, are almost identical, so I believe all these models are based on the same factory drawing or cad data.

This photo doesn't tell much for it's misaligned (I should have taken pictures twice), but you get the general idea of the body shape and size.

Fujimi's headlight cover "almost" fits the Scaleauto body (but not quite).

To make an RSR, you can either graft Fujimi's doors and the surrounding areas to the Scaleauto body, or use Scaleauto's RSR-specific body panels on the Fujimi GR3R body.

Good catch. The real car came with Rays and Michelin, but the team swapped them with Enkei and Hankook. Aoshima's GTC 01 is a close match, and you just have to convert the 5 nuts style into the center lock type. I have two sets on their way.

Now that Ika-musume (Squid Girl) is going to invade Super GT with the 430 GTC this year, I hope Fujimi make the GTC. They already have license (there, fixed) to both Ika-musume and Ferrari.

the only thing that does not convince me in all these models is the "bubbelly" roof on both the cars (GT3R and RSR). maybe it is right, but when I look at real 997s, I dont note it so much as here.Maybe is just my imagination?

hmm, thanks for those.
the scaleauto looks like it has slightly off wheelarches.
this is going to be down to slot car dimensions, right?

Thanks for the pics Mike, I was looking forward to do the same after getting mine (it's somewhere in transit right now)especially after I bought the Carrera slot body kit by pure chance last Friday.

Looks like a good match with a bit of work.

I think what he means is a look-alike conversion decal for the Fujimi GT3R kit (like Shunko does to not-so-accurate existing kits). I wouldn't mind if Fujimi made these liveries and called it GT3 Le Mans 2011 without including proper RSR body features since I can take care of that myself.
