Re: Re: EVO 8 VS 1069 Ford Mustang Mach 1

Evo is a better track car subaru is a better rally due to its shorter wheel base. Haveing more hp doesnt always mean its the best. Prime ex the NSX aka the golden child of performanc in my opinion.

Wow i didnt expect to get this many replys . But Once this race happens (still have to get the full time job, then the evo will be mine) I'll let everyone know the results. Hell, maybe I'll post some pics of his stang and my evo and some running photos for everyone! But If everything goes according to plan this race may happen next year either in spring or summer, So I'll keep everyone posted.

PS- Keep the posts comming!

Re: EVO 8 VS 1069 Ford Mustang Mach 1

You know the Evo is maken 271 HP at the flywheel. At the wheels its only maken around 230 HP, but I think the performance is way impresive for that power. Motor Trend and Car And Driver both say they are the same, exept the editers of both magazines said they prefered the Evo over the Sti. The new Evo MR is even faster than the standered Evo. Crazy, but rare in this country.

no...its got 300 at the flywheel not at the wheels.

Actually 280 sounds kinda high considering its got all wheel drive and should be losing a lot more than 20hp.
