Your memorabilia is too impressive

I can't imagine time, research and money to have all this stuff.

Thanks Phil. The answers to your questions are too much, far too much and way too much

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

Bought a few more press packs recently...although the AM Racing one is still hiding itself from the Google algorithms

Some other bits of memorabilia I thought were cool so I bought them recently were -

A sticker off the roof of a GULF Mclaren GTR from Le Mans 1996

and I've looked at these for ages, and finally plumped for 2 of differing face-values

oh and I also relented [aka caved in]and bought some of these for Thomas

These are quite old Phil - I think most of them were originally candy tins. They pop up on Ebay from time to time. Sometimes a bunch all at once, other times you can go a while without seeing any.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

Have added a rather special Mclaren F1 Press Pack. It's on page 146 of Driving Ambition, bottom right hand corner. It's a Press Pack given out to people who were invited to attend the Monaco launch, and contains Press photos, Slides, lots of info on Mclaren headed paper, an A4 folder and a pass to get in to the F1 Launch itself

I hadn't seen one for sale before, and when the price was closer to what I was willing to pay I gave in and bought it

I have a few more things coming over the next few weeks, so I'll pop them up here as and when.......

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

Mostly eBay, but sometimes through word of mouth as others know of my collection and when they hear / see of anything going they'll contact me. I have people on all continents emailing me with stuff they find for sale - some of it catches my eye and I buy it, other times its a duplication of what I already have and other times its run-of-the-mill stuff that you can find on eBay every day - sometimes this is a good thing as it may be selling offline for a lot less than what can be found on eBay, which helps fund the rarer objects I / others stumble across

Greg,

It's nice that it's still got the official entry ticket (visiting card) shown in the last photo: they're even rarer than the kit.

I haven't forgot about the AM Presskit.

I'll try and photo it tomorrow and email the shots to you for hosting.

I also found a black Logica Presskit, from the Gulf BPR team at the Brands Hatch round that I'll photo too.

Are these two eluding your collection too perhaps ?

Regards

Yes, the AM racing is still missing and is avoiding all the Google algorithms at the moment - the Logica press kit is a new one on me, so it seems I am farther away from my end-goal than I thought.....
