Yes, the one in the grey plastic box file with yellow lettering.

The grey card folders were a generic literature folder used my McLaren for enclosing literature to propsects and some presskits, but never (to my knowledge) for the F1 LM Launch presskit.

The card folders had grey, green, red and black variants, some with added gloss lettering, for the differing year models of F1 and GTR presskits.

Here are a few pics of some of my press packs and brochures

2x

2x

This is pretty special

as it came with these, 3 large and 6 slightly smaller press photos that went in to press packs, from the company that took the photos. Each photo has a little synopsis stuck on paper on the photo's reverse

oh yeah, and this one

Adds up to around 30 or so all in all

Wot - no F1 LM Mousemat with your last F1 LM Presskit ?

You're losing your touch !

In all seriousness, that is a comprehensive collection.

The only addition I could suggest would be the AM Racing Presskit.

Then the set would be complete !

The Gulf press kits come with different variations of content, pics etc.

Just pot luck what you get, different races etc.

In the main, they are much like the two copies I have given you

Second and third.

Two cards were given to me on seperate visits to unit 12 while delivering GTR window kits. The lower card here was given to me at Silverstone in 97 along with an F1 pin badge by a very nice McLaren employee by the name of Mike who very generously aload me close access to the four F1,s on display, pics of which have been previously shared.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

as well as some other bits and bobs that came in the same 'bundle' -

Compliments slip

Spare F1 LM photo card that comes with the LM Press Pack
and its reverse

Special Mclaren-only edition of the article in CAR magazine from June 1994
and its reverse

They all came in another Mclaren grey press folder, with the following press releases on Mclaren headed, most of which were a nice bonus and are now duplicates in my collection -

"Speech by Ron Dennis at the launch of the F1 LM December 7th 1995" 2 pages
"Mclaren F1 LM The Fastest road car in the world gets faster" 7 pages
"Mclaren F1 LM Technical Specification" 3 pages
"Mclaren F1 GTR Debut Victory at Le Mans" 3 pages
"Mclaren F1 GTR Specification 1996" 3 pages"
"Technical Differences between F1, F1 GTR & F1LM" 6 pages

not bad for the price I paid

Martin, you'll have to come over again for another snoop around my memorabilia

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

Many thanks for the invite Greg, at the rate I,m going it will be around Xmas, just in time for a mince pie and a very nice cup of tea

McLaren also did a reprint of the Autocar road test issue in a white folder with pin badge. I gave both copies away as a little present to a very good friend
