more progress...

Chasis is done:

Engine bay is also done - cleaning up to be done:

I was aiming at trying my hand at wiring the engine (reason for wanting pix for the engine) - unfortunately, I couldn't find a pin vise in the stores here. I'll have to order one and then I might try to wire the thing.

Pman, the kit is good apart from the inaccuracies- usu Tamiya quality. Of course, I've yet to fit the body after painting.

Body gets polished tomorrow!

Smile DONE!!!

I messed up on the rear tail lights. Should've painted it along with the rest of the body to get the same colour depth. As you can see the stock ride height sucks! My intentions for the project were to build the car box stock and try my hand at wiring, which didn't get done cos for some reason I couldn't find a pin vise in the stores I checked. In hindsight I should've tried my 1st lowering job!!!

The seats were in 2 parts and the seam lines were horrid (can't see in the pix). I puttied it some, but my puttying skills are still a 'work-in-progress'!!

Overall, the kit was usual Tamiya quality. I was well pleased with the Tamiya paint job too!
