On Sale

Well, I have gone on record in other AF posts as saying that the 288 GTO is one of my three favourite Ferraris (+ 550 Maranello + F40).

Don't be scared by the Million dollar price as they occasionally show up in the Dupont Registry for around $320 000 US. Also, there are a few available at www.carclassic.com for around $300K US as well. So, if you've got that kind of money burning a hole in your pocket, please pick one of these masterpieces up and don't forget to give me a ride!

P.S. Anyone who mistakes a 308 or a 328 for a 288 GTO doesn't know cars.

Just my guess, but maybe a Ferrari dealer.

What is it with people confusing the 288 with earlier models of Ferraris? Not to say there's anything wrong with early models of Ferraris.
Every rich fob and each one of his numerous dogs own F355's and Jaguars now. A true connosieur of automobiles enjoys the lesser know models, such as my favourite Ferrari, the 250 GT SWB

man i love the 288. the only problem is (and this is kinda a good thing too), is anyone who doesnt know their Ferraris thinks it looks like you're average 308, 328 or 348.

I love the 288, it's my second favourite Ferrari, right after the 250 GT SWB. Did I mention how much I love the 250 GT SWB?

The 250 Zagato! My absolute favourite Ferrari!
