haha got a line of Nissans now lol. I've heard of anything between small block v8's going into 240's, and about every nissan engine u could imagine in a S chassis. Rb20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT, CA18DET, KA24(D)E(T), SR20DET, VK45DE, and I think I heard of a supra mk4 engine in one.

the bigger engines fit fine, ive heard talk of people who apparently need to leingthen the car or move the firewall, but its bs in my opinion, i didnt need to do any of that. it is just a simple swap, new motor mounts and a new tranny mount will get it in.

yeah even people who run the Rb26 say u don't need to make any modifications to the size of an engine bay. a RB26 is a fairly large engine lengthwise.... longer then a V8 running 4 cylinders deep. this one has 6 cylinders deep. There is very little room between the engine and radiator in RB swapped cars though.

with the RB26 swap, there's issues with the placement of the twin turbos and the steering column, since North American cars are left hand drive.

pretty much any engine imaginable has been swapped int S-chassis cars. i've seen every RB engine, ever VG engine, VQ, Toyota 2JZ and 1JZ, Toyota 3SGTE, V8's (eyech). there's alot of options if you have the money.

just like Night on the west coast, i'll be happy to do RB-S chassis swaps on the east coast.

and so you know i have a 1996 R33 GTS-T clip in storage...

but they fit just fine...and i wont be swapping it till i get tired of raw KA's.. i kinda like the Torque the have.

and sure, RB's have self destructed. but they have the qualities we all love. so in order to ruin one you must be a complete fool or have lots of money to play with.

by the way i might sell my white 89 S13.....any takers?

just found a site for RB installs, unstable-hybrids.com , im sure youve probibly heard of them, but you can get the engine and the install, install is

Skyline RB25DET
Engine from 1994-1999 R33 Skyline, 2.5L Dual Overhead Cam Inline 6-cylinder Turbo Motor
Front Clip: $4,000 * Intercooler and piping included.
Installation: $2,700 * Includes custom motor/tranny mounts
* Does not include price of custom intake manifold, which facilitates use of front mount intercooler, but requires custom piping.
* Typically takes 3 weeks once all parts arrive (estimate only).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Skyline RB26DETT
Engine from 1988-1999 R32/33/34 Skyline, 2.6L Dual Overhead Cam Inline 6-cylinder Twin-Turbo Motor
* Not including RWD transmission and other parts needed for install.
R32 Front Clip: $5,500
R33 Front Clip: $6,500
R34 Front Clip: $8,000 * Intercooler and piping included.
Installation: $3,100 * Includes custom motor/tranny mounts
* Typically takes 3 weeks once all parts arrive (estimate only).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

but if you buy an install kit, the kit is only 1400 (1200 if you buy the motor from them)
