stock an 84 z28 does the quarter in about 15.3 sec's IIRC. I dont know what mine does , Ive got bigger 94 z28 (16x8.5) , a K&N filter , a flowmaster muffler , and a B&M Megashifter. The wheels really hold well , they plant and the car hunches and goes !!!
. It feels faster than a car doing 15's but remember the butt-o-meter is somewhat biased. Once I put a 3.73 in the rear I might make the 2 hour drive to the 1/8th track in liz city , n.c. and give it a run. The car has 3.08's in it now (someone switched the rear axle at some point , supposed to be 3.42 limited) so its not a super burnout machine (it can but not crazy , also the fat tires dont help) . Tell ya one thing though , this car is a cornering machine ,it handles great and I love the way the whole car feels , even not being super fast its still a very fun car .
