It holds the two cases of the water pump together. No need to get to it.

Ok, it was a broken bolt that a friend of mine helped me drill out. But now I dont know how to set the crankshaft timing. He told me how to do the TDC thing but now I need to know how to do the crankshaft? And ideas?

there should be a mark on the crank sproket and a mark, or arrow of some kind on the oil pump. thats the case on the dohc, should be the same on the single. some auto parts store should have the info, or schematics on it. or try and find on writeup on stealth316
