Re: Help Help. I screwed something up

Sounds like there is still an issue somewhere. The clicking sounds like the DRL relay. By you stepping on the parking brake and the clicking going away sort of coincides with the drl system. (ie drl's go off when you apply the parking brake).

Check the DRL fuse in the glove box. Bet its blown.

Re: Help Help. I screwed something up

You guys are funny! I'm only sharing my previous knowledge mainly because most of these problems I have encountered in the past and had to diagnose myself. (been there done that).

So I'm more than glad to help out whenever I can.

Chrissbee, does the new install of the digital DIC work? If so, then job well done.

Re: Help Help. I screwed something up

It does not work but i think it was already broken im going to get another one and try again. The Car runs great though so im back to the analog DIC. I did check the DRL fuse behind the glove compartment it's not blown. But there is a black box above the emergency brake that has two connectors i unpluged the smaller blue one and the ticking noise has stopped and if you plug it back it starts up again so im sure that whatever the part is called is now fried. but she runs

Well as long you can get from point a to point b I would call that a success.
