Buy it. Great price.

(Not trying to turn Stevie down, but the 1G will be better)

You have much research to do, sir!

I suggest (like the READ ME FIRST post) registering on www.dsmtuners.com and getting comfy with the SEARCH feature.

Re: Intake Flutter

I do search before I start a "new" thread but since this was posted I thought I would ask and then state that I would buy it...

You're missing the point. How do you know if you actually want to buy it if you don't know if it is better or not (it is, but possibly overkill)? Follow?

You still haven't searched about crushing. A crushed valve is more prone to fluttering at transient and low-boost levels than a non-crushed valve would be. You cannot "go softer" on a non-adjusting valve.

When you buy it and get it, install it with a NEW gasket and recirculate it back to the intake. Stock BOVs are non-adjustable, so just hook the hose up and you're ready to go.

I have a 1G BOV on my 420a-t motor and I get some "flutter", but only when I go WOT at like 1500-2500rpm and let go go of it quickly. It's not doing any harm, since it is technically venting a little so I wouldn't even call it compressor surge. You'll be good with it though.

Re: Intake Flutter

Ned I hope you got my PM...
I found a steal on a Greddy Type RS.....$60 the guy bought it for his car and wrecked it the same day he installed it... I checked with the greddy site and it is real not a fake, so I installed it and the flutter isnt as bad but I still have to adjust it a little more.. Now all I need is to get the piece ordered to recirc and that will be done with..
