Re: Did anyone get any Mclaren F1 related Christmas presents?

I waqs advised by Lanzante Racing that converting a longtail for road use would not really be practical due to the long front and rear overhangs and even less rearward visibility than the earlier GTR's, then of course there is the sequential gearbox, can be somewhat of a pain in traffic.

Re: Did anyone get any Mclaren F1 related Christmas presents?

I ordered some more videos from Duke. Today I received the Le Man 1995 and Le Mans 1997 reviews, with some cracking F1 GTR content on there!! I am waiting for them to deliver the Le Mans 1996 and World Sportscar BPR review 1996 to make my small collection more healthy

Re: Did anyone get any Mclaren F1 related Christmas presents?

There is some onboard action, and I have only seen Le Mans 1995 so far, and that was 1 hour long. It was great, the pits shots were the best.

Re: Did anyone get any Mclaren F1 related Christmas presents?

I just got my two 1:43 Hekorsa GTR's, very detailed, I'm really happy with my purchase.

I am aware that some of the users here have families so for the sake of saving any fathers here from an akward conversation...
The guy I bought the models from wrapped them in a chinese newspaper that had some advertisements for...um...'videos' on it.

Just to warn you, if you buy a model from this guy don't open it in front of your kids (or wife).

Re: Did anyone get any Mclaren F1 related Christmas presents?

Thanks for the link! But I might be late. As I wrote an another Thread, I suffered a computer failure, so one week went whit out it.

But anyway, I've finally got the "Sports car experience" DVD... And now watched it three four times. Just incredible! The quality is superp!! Really good! Many of those onboard vids was unknown for me.

Really really fantastic DVD, I just out of the words now.
The best thing in it was many different onboard shots of F1's and the the big BMW V12 sound.... probably the best thing whole DVD......... WOH...... Can not find the words!
