Thanks for the positive feedback. The exhaust isn't painted. It's polished bare metal foil.

what did you use for the silcone hoses? looks kind of like speaker wire housing Awsome job by the way!!

Close, but the wires actually came wrapped around my house speaker wire. Speaker wire usually had fibers inside, this wire has some sort of thin copper, so it stays put.

As far as the progress goes, I'm going to strip the body this weekend. If I use my time(and dehydrator) wisely, I should have it ready for next weekend's model show. And this time I'll paint the window trim, cover it in Bare Metal, then apply the silver leaf. I'll keep everyone updated.

I just relized this question, you take two pencils to make one muffler? You are able to use the main "body" of the pencil with it's "insides" to make multiple mufflers in one pencil, right?

BTW, that chrome on the muffler looks really nice!

I think you need 2 of the big things at the end because thats what he used for the pipe

That my friend, is the cover for the fan. I cut off the intake part and covered it with carbon fiber decal.
