Simple as this- if Bush had left Saddam alone nothing would have happened- he would be doing nothing- just like he has in the last 12 years- if the US attacks- Saddam unleases all hell on the military while the Al Qaeda unleash all hell on the Civillians of America- then there is gonig to be some serious carnage- but who provoked who???

Saddam doesn't have capabilities to unleash hell on military. Saddam also can't do anything to the US military if he is dead. Al Quaeda sleeper cells will be weeded out of the US. The world is a safer place.

You are very ignorant to say he has been sitting there for the past 12 years, and egocentric if you say we are just going to sit there and watch Iraqi citizens, and Kurdish citizens die. If France, Russia, and the UK did something in 1933 when Hitler was coming to power, there wouldn't be 5 million people dead. Tell me what the difference is if you say Saddam has all this power..

Saddam has very little power as it is- yet he does have a monopoly when it comes to his countries oil industry- he'd sooner spend it on Palaces and wives than WMD's...........Also if Kurdish people die- then what business is that of the US???? Sure it is allright to send them weapons and dollars to fight back- but butting into Iraq's affairs and trying to take over Saddams monopoly??? That is taking it too far.

There was very little that could have been done about Hitler until his attack on Poland in 1939- because he wasnt actually breaking any laws- as he withdrew from the League of nations.
