Great way to travel in-style in the army but not everyday on the streets.
it is not like a Hum'vee which looks good any version.

Our State National Guard has taken a Hummer and turned it into a rolling sound system that they call "Mountain Thunder". Something like $80,000 in state tax dollars over like...a decade to make the thing. It's got custom paint and everything. It's their way of getting teens to come over and talk to the recruiters are fairs and such. I've been one of very few civilians to ride in it. It's nice!
As for that kit car, it's probably done for the same reason. I've never seen a Military Police Car like that. It's just another Army recruiting tool. I sort of like it...maybe I'll be able to do a model of one...or maybe not.
