im pretty bad for running out of gas, ive done it 3 times in the last 6 months once it was parked and just wouldnt turn on, once while driving and once while it was idling outside.

What happens is your idle really starts to go up and down it sounds like the engines about to stop but then itll rev up again and repeat this till theres nothing left and itll just stop altogether. If you try and gas it there wont be any response from the gas pedal, it wont do anything.

I have no gas light, could've used one yesturday tho

Funny how the first thread i've ever seen about running out of gas was made right at the same time i ran out of gas. Yesturday coming home from college i noticed i was low on gas (just put in 6 gallons on wed) but i figured it could make it till i got on rt 50, where i know where everything is. However, 1 mile from 50 my car starts slowing down, so i know im out, wasnt as exciting as i thought tho, the car just starts slowing down and eventually starts sputtering a little then i just turned it off. And no, i didnt have a gas light gome on ever, just my oil pressure light once i was completely out. So thats my story, badass.

You think thats bad? I dun did that thing today. Paid $45 to fill up my car to the brim! 100 octane Cool Blue 76 Racing Fuel... The best!
Opon my imeadeat departure from the gas station I noticed that the car was running MUCH smoother than it EVER had before (Not a big surprize considering the shity 91 we use here in cali) However I also noticed that I seemed to be missing some torque somewere! WTF <------- I think this might also be due to the fact that I have never driven my car with a over full tank of gass... I filled that shit to the brim and beyond! I was also almost out of gas. Greg, when we tear this motor down for inspection/instalation I want to see what it looks like in there after running this shit through it! Bet its cleaner than.... Something realy clean.

Well I added NOS octane booster to the 100 oct race fuel! It now has Nitro Methane in it allond with mmt and some other good shit... Im running like 107Oct+NitroMethane. Low end Tq is back again with the nitro and it accelerates 2 times faster than normal!

Well I have never ran out of gas. I always fill up my take before the light goes on...usually at a quarter left or even half. Depends on what I'm doing. Also I have never used 100 octane gas before...the Highest I have used it 93, but that might change once I get the civic going.

my gas gauge is all sorts of phucked up. when i fill it up completely, i have at least 3 gallons above the "F" mark, and when the needle gets down to about 1/4 left, i only have like 1/2 a gallon left
