That came out so good. That must have taken a lot of self convincing not to do it in red.

Great Steve, this is the real "out of the box"-model. Looks fantastic and maybe your WIP helps those modelers, who think, that a "good" model must have tons of p/e parts ;-)

btw: please, next time, before you take photos, take a broom and clean the street lol

Your build convinced me to buy this kit. I hope you don't mind but I'll be copying your detail work LOL!

What more can I add?

I love the scheme you did on this one- suits it perfectly. The all Rosso Corsa one on the box top honestly pales by comparison. Lovely stuff, and as always a pleasure to watch.

Re: Ferrari 250TR "Pontoon Fender" by Hasegawa

This is by far the best example of a built-up of this kit I've seen yet. Perfect color choice and bravo on the subtle engine weathering. I have a bone to pick on the Hasegawa engine, however...the intake trumpets are way too heavy and there's a couple of other sniggling issues the Ferrari purist can't help but miss....Harold Bradford of Historic Racing Miniatures is doing an engine upgrade (or it might be an entire engine, a-la his incredible 330-P4 engine...seen the curved trupets in that thing?? They defy belief) and I for one am awaiting it before I tear into the kit. Superb work here, though...very nice, indeed!

This is a beautiful example of modelling at its best. Not just the car but the street is excellent as well. Always a pleasure following along on your builds.

Interesting "OOB, using the Box" build!

Nothing short of the excellent result I was expecting!
Great looking model and Italian pavement!
