Re: Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Man detailing is really not an easy job.... Kudos to people who can do it perfectly...!

But i cant

Picture of the "display" im making

Done up the brakes with CM's Challenge set of PE brakes disc

Detailing it to make it look like the actual one
Top Disc is the modified one... The bottom is the stock ...

Top Disc is the modified one... The bottom is the stock ...

Finally I got this... But now i decided to use the Brake pads from the challenge kit... so ill be cutting off the ones from the scuderia kit

Some engine progress... Still long way to go!

Hope i can get more done during the weekend!

Re: Ferrari F430 Scuderia

man you're doing fine!

i don't even do p/e on brakes on any of my builds...but that doesn't mean i'm a novice...
everyone has his /her strength in something & weakness in others. i don't have a good eyesight for detailing but i'm quite okay with the cutter!!!

one ques: you mean this fujimi kit provides an independent F430 engine as shown in the pic!?!?

if so, i wonder why they don't seperate the rear deck from the body...or are you gonna open the rear deck??

Re: Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Only those 4 parts are included in the kit... and another 2 or 3 parts .. it makes a fairly decent engine bay... but not that detailed

Re: Ferrari F430 Scuderia

This is so nice to see that they put exhaust system in a kit, valve covers also.

You are doing a great and fast work.

Re: Ferrari F430 Scuderia

The Scruderia looks like another step up from the other 430 kit, evident that fujimi have paid a lot of attention to it. Now its a must buy for me, i'll be following this post closely.
Keep up the good work mate.

Re: Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Some work in progress....
Been working on the dash , seats and body shine
A picture of the 3 scuderias together....
Red polished but not waxed
Yellow polished and waxed
Black just gasing out after clearcoats

A picture of the seat... the 2 tone colour is on , carbon fibre yet to go on... shoulder belts are done

Modifiying of the dashboard to remove the stero to match the real car

Back to the main topic the black scuderia!
So far at this picture it has been polished rub out to smooth the paint surface as much as possible

Now i covered the whole shell in carnauba wax... Yes im not kidding .. its the expensive shit they use to polish mainly supercars...

Rubbed and buff with a soft cloth to acheieve the shine

There are some more pictures of the Red and yellow that i have yet to post... will update soon when i got the time
Thats all for now!
