Great news, there goes my promise down the drain.

Maybe they do a 250 GTO II ?!
That would be a nice surprise.

Re: Fujimi upcoming seen on HobbySearch Japan

WOW GREAT NEWS!!

I’ll preorder the Scuderia, eyes closed!!, the GTO, well, as Hiraoki said, it won’t be a Revell/Protar reissue, we need to wait, being on the price range of the no-engine kits, makes me think on it as a reissue of another GTO, could it be possible it be a Gunze reissue? Hope not, and if it is new tooling I’ll sure get one and if it is a GTO II I’ll cry and get two!.
As for the Tamiya R35, well, 5 years ago I would say preorder eyes closed too, but now… with the possibility of getting a toyish metal chassis plate, bolts, decals for the dashboard instead of engraving, and toyish simplified assembly, no, even the 4000 Yen price doesn’t say much, I’ll have to wait to see the kit, and now I know I’ll may be getting Fujimi’s or Ahoshima’s

Ehh, the releases aren't too excited. Would rather have seen M3, AMGs or Porsches.

Re: Fujimi upcoming seen on HobbySearch Japan

I just found Fujimi's blurb saying that their 250GTO kit will be an all new tool. It'll be released as the No.35 of their Real Sportscar product line, so it will least likely have an engine (but there are some exceptions, so we have to wait and see.)

I've also found a little more info on the Tamiya GT-R. The kit will have a separate engine hood and an intake chamber. That means it'll be a partially detailed model without a complete engine assembly. The chassis and suspension seem to be fully detailed, unlike their recent kits with a simplified diecast chassis.

Don't forget the 126CK. No.3 in the 1/20 scale series by Fujimi which has been confirmed and is listed on the japanese website!
That will add another to my GV collection....
I am certain to blow my Budget this year.....I'm already thinking of excuses for my wife?

Re: Fujimi upcoming seen on HobbySearch Japan

Seems to be a revival in the 250 GTO kit, which is nice. A real version was recently sold very quietly for 14 million euros (almost $20 million). I'd like to see new tools of my favorite vintage Ferraris (275gts nart, 250 swb, and 250 gt swb california).

250GTO new tool?! and from Fujimi! it has to be GREAT!
I'll be up for two at least!!
I just hope to finally have accurate wheels in a 250GTO kit

The Tamiya GT-R, mmh, no, I'm not sure yet...

And even if you're looking for full detail, most probably Tamiya won't be the solution...

Re: Fujimi upcoming seen on HobbySearch Japan

A Ferrari 62/63 GTO would be nice. I think aftermarket for the wires is the best way, or maybe they will copy Hasegawa with the 250TR extra wire wheel sets.
A 126CK is going to be nice. Fujimi messed up the 126C2 body, but they always make mistakes. I just ordered a Revell F2007 kit from England.
From what I have heard it is the best one yet(even better than the 2003GA).
Now if only someone would make the new ALMS Porsche spyder prototype in plastic.
