The east German Trabant is officialy the worlds worst car.
Made from recyled plastic and paper and powered by a very pathetic two stroke motor it wins hands down to anything else.

dont' forget about the ford fiesta. those things are freakin weak!! i saw one on the road, the tires are sooo narrow and it basically looks like a boxy powerwheel with a roof.

The Trabant- as Moppie put it is by far the worst one out there- I mean a TWO STROKE!!!!!!!

others are the FIAT Panda, Daihatsu Cuore, Suzuki Alto, Perodua Nippa, Yugo, Subaru Vivio etc................

There was 4wd Turbo Vivio run in the national rally series here several years ago. Corners that looked very narrow to a WRX looked like an oval speedway to the Vivio.
And it was fast, easily competitive with the Group N cars.

But the Subaru 360, now there was a Japanese mini lemon.

The Subaru 360 was a Japanese lemon? By what standards? It was the best selling car in Japan for nearly all of the 1960's!
If you want a Japanese lemon take a look at the Honda N600! Now here's a car with a 2-cylinder engine, but both cylinders fire at the same time! Let's not forget to make mention of what you'd have to go through to replace a fan belt on that damn thing either!

LOL! I was pulling your leg.
A friends father had one in his Garage and my friend was told it would be his first car when he was old enough to drive.
Not exactly the worst car in the world, but certianly one of the smallest.

And at least the N600 could go around corners

The 600 could go around corners? If you could get the thing into gear! (now that I think about it, it's amazing Honda just didn't give up trying to make cars) And if that belt broke, your engine was toast.

Suzuki Esteem. these cars are weak as hell. my dad had a metro and he was able to cruise upwards of 90-100 mph. how dare you say the metro was weak. go test drive an esteem. see how weak they are. you'll agree w/ me

I used to drive around my companies Suzuki Baleno GTX Station Wagon a fair bit- and it was in no ways weak- the Metro however is weaker than than my Aunties tea- the Three cylinder motor from Suzuki is so tediously slow that you actually wonder if the factory remembered to even put an engine in the car

Jim, that pedal, the rightmost one, that's called the accelerator - you use it to go fast, you've got to push it to the floor with your foot if you want the geo to go.
When I drove the Geo, overall I thought it was pretty O.K., the only time one doubts the existence of an engine is when they open the hood and have to search for it (hint: it's in the lower left corner)
