Re: System
4 foot should be plenty. My ground is only like 2 foot.

Re: System
you could also use the the seat mounting nuts anything that goes to the body of the car works as a great ground

Re: System
Ok, I think i found where i want to put it but im not sure if its a safe place...There is a little plastic cover right underneath the cargo storage shade thing on both sides of the hatch and inside is the top bolts i guess you could say for the shocks...could i just take one of those off, sand down the metal and use that for a ground? or is my car gonna fall apart for some strange reason?

Re: System
Rules of the thumb for Amps.
Use Heavy Gage 4 gage is fine. Run the power straight of the batter most stock wire can not just be taped into for power they do not have the power handleing and you will burn wires. (These are not fun to replace). The ground wire can be atached to any metal just make sure its metal and not paint or rust. The best way to rounte wires is threw the fire wall there is always a whole in the fire wall alredy some are by the pettals soem are behind the glove box.

Re: System
Ok run your ground under the hatch carpeting where your spare tire is and use electrical tape to hold it down, or relocate your battery to the trunk.

Re: System
I'm not sure what screw your talking about but susally the word screw means not enuf ground this is more of a bolt project. Im sure this is killing you trying to get this system in and not knowing where to put the last wire. Any Screw/bolt will work as long as it conects to the body of the car. Just Remove the screw sand the area around the whole down sleip your ring terminal around the Bolt/Screw and tightenit down real tight you will be fine if you can not remove the screw or bolt with out taking something just look for an ezer place. Never ground your amp to the battery it usually causes noise thats not always the case but its better to ground to the body.
