Fastest growing metroplex in the US! Its the kind of world I like, for sure.

Oh, and because we are mentioning worlds...

Haha just watched that on the way back from State yesterday. Good movie. What part of it do you live in, exactly? And you know you have something good going when your ratio of Hooters to Hobby Lobbys is 14:1.

What the hell is a Disco Potato?

Find FD guy after turboback, run em again. Im curious to see how that will end for you. If he hasnt modded it any futher, anyways.

That's gforce your thinking of, but I guess you can compensate by amending sleepr lol

Cassies, your lucky to have so many hooters in your area...we have one being built in our town, and the next closest one is 200 miles away

Smack dab in the center. My city (if you want to call Colleyville a city...) is exactly 20 minutes from downtown Dallas and 20 from downtown Ft. Worth. I can really be anywhere in the metroplex in under 30 minutes.

Sorry I haven't responded to your last PM, just been busy. Disco Potato is slang term for a GT2860R turbo. Pretty popular among smaller engine guys, but it actually looks like its a bit undersized for our cars. The two big ones people are going with are GT3071R or 76R, or Protege Garage's new K04 rework, which I was about to be the primary tester for, but financial issues got in the way. There is a GT35R kit, but thats pointless to have on our motors unless you get all new forged internals. Otherwise, you'd never be able to run enough boost to get anything out of it.

I'm planning on it. He is in the local Mazda club so shouldn't be to hard.

Re: A few more kills and a close death

Yeah no problem about not returning the pm, i understand totally. Life gets a little hectic sometimes. But good to know what a Disco Potato is. I couldnt find the information on what the stock turbo size was to save my life!

Uncle lives in Dallas, we make yearly visits. Might catch you in the area sometime.

And sorry sleepr, still getting used to who everyone is on the forum. Your signature picture of the Galant VR-4 didnt show up so i kinda assumed you were gforce for some stupid reason. My bad

The GT35 looked like too much for the MS3, i did see something on protege garage where they rework the stock turbo. Any idea how that performs? seemed like a fairly new addition to the site. And yes i know this is getting way off topic

If your ever in the area, just give me a shout. And I'm not sure how the reworked K04 performs, but that was the one for PG I was going to test for them. They had one all set up and ready to ship, but due to some financial indiscretions, I wasn't able to hit the already insanely discounted price on it. Which sucked.

Re: A few more kills and a close death

Yes that does suck. The way you said "financial indiscretions" makes me curious, yet afraid to ask. They wont let you get your hands on one for that price anymore?

But it seems to me like the aftermarket hasnt quite caught up to the Mazdaspeed 3 just yet. plenty of stuff out there, but nowhere near the levels of the speed6 or several other vehicles in the same class.

AF has been pretty dead as of late, so I'm trying to perform digital CPR here.

It involves my moving. As in...hey, I could totally pick this up, but wow...I would have to delay my move for about two months. Financial indiscretions makes it sound all dark and shaddy and mysterious. It really came down to me deciding if I wanted to move or if I wanted a faster car. Which, unfortunately, in this case, moving is the better option.

Lol not any time soon. You should move to Texas. I might be up in Mizzery for a bit, maybe over the summer. But I'm moving out of the 'rents house, trying to do that whole "establish myself as a productive member of society" thing.

It's much more fun to be a slacker.

Chicks dig the guy who still lives at home.
