The eclipse didn't lose. It actually pulled the 3000gt pretty good. We were just saying that we might have to MAKE the eclipse lose this weekend with the redline. So are you callenging me? cause you can drive up here to ND

My friend is planning to do intake, headers, exhaust, and air/fuel controller on the eclipse, so that'll make it a little quicker.

If you are ever in Missouri lemme know. This is as close to the arctic circle I plan on going.
Why not just go the 3.5 or 3.8 route? Convert the ecu to an 02 eclipse and use a tactrix cable to tune. Those things are better than just I/h/e and afc on the 3.0. Then he can I/h/e it and be in the 13's n/a And he'll Neva lose!!!!!!

3.5 or 3.8 liter engine? Is that what your talking about? cause its almost quick enough for him, he just wants a little more kick in the pants

Re: Redline vs. Turbo civic

yeah, you've not heard about the swaps yet? Diamante 3.5l motor is a direct fit with very minor modifications to one axle hanger and starter locater plate. lots more torque, little more hp, and those engines can be had used for ~600-800 in good condition. ~200 if you want one that's broke. You can use it with the stock computer if you have the stock fuel system on it still. It's more cost effective than i/h/e since a decent set of headers that will actually work will cost more than the swap.

Re: Redline vs. Turbo civic

Yeah ive heard of the 6g74 swap, because it is becoming more popular for 3/S now too. Like I said though he is happy with it, a few mods and he will call it good. His last car was a 92 cavalier z24 auto, so this is a big step up haha
