get an aftermarket boost gauge, you may be hitting fuel cut causing the ECU to do what it needs to do to keep the motor from going "BOOM" so... be careful, i would try to keep it out of boost untill you find out what turbo you are running, where the boost is set, and get a decent set of plugs in their... then you can have some fun

yea i agree i would not run it hard intill you get a gauge. but buddy has a 350 z and we put a turbo on it. well he did not have a gauge and the turbo said that it would auto set at 8 pounds. well he blew is motor and we replaced it and hooked up a boost gauge he was running like 25 psi. cost him 4k. so be carefull.

oh and tdo5h from what i understand is the size of the turbo housing. not the turbine or the wheel.

A cracked 1G manifold is common. Either find a 2G or EVO III manifold. The crack will only get worse so if it's not big enough to hinder performance now, it will be in the future. The wastegate actuator arm won't move very easy by hand if working properly.

hey dude take the pen out the the waste gate that connects to the turbo and see if the little peace that the wastegate hooks to will turbo. it should turn easy as long as the wastegate is not hooked. if it does pull the wastegate hard as hell and it shold pull. if you have any problem let me know i have a 2g exhaust manifold il sell. also i have a t25 turbo and some other shit for these. im about to sell my awd talon. kids.

Welcome to AF, glad to see your using the search feature and looking at older threads but you should have made a new thread ab your problem.

I would check for boost leaks if I was you. Thats usually a good place to start. Search on google and you can find out how to build one cheap.

Copper plugs only. Ditch the snake-oil plugs.
